Back To The Future
The Vale’ are a big band with a tight sound. The sixty minute selection from the concert has a good blend of the modern (making good use of the compositions of former member, the late lamented Gordon Duncan) and the traditional. Pipe bands are now becoming much more imaginative and ‘The Vale’ are up there amongst the innovators. (Allcelticmusic website)
